NVIDIA GeForce NOW Introduces New DLSS 4.5 Controls

New DLSS 4.5 Controls Come to the Cloud

NVIDIA has announced that new NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 controls are now available on GeForce NOW. The update gives members more choice over how supported games look and perform in the cloud, allowing players to utilize advanced features even without owning the latest local hardware. According to NVIDIA, DLSS Super Resolution sharpens image quality, while Dynamic Multi Frame Generation delivers lower latency and reduces stutter for smoother streaming. Additionally, Ray Reconstruction enhances ray-traced visuals across compatible titles.

For players utilizing high-tier cloud rigs, Ultimate members streaming on GeForce RTX 5080-powered configurations benefit from the maximum available options. This includes support for Dynamic Multi Frame Generation up to 4X. The features can be fine-tuned to prioritize image quality, responsiveness, or a preferred balance between the two depending on individual preference.

Fine-Tuning Supported Titles

The newly introduced controls help tailor supported games across various demanding experiences. From James Bond’s globe-trotting missions in 007 First Light — which features path tracing support — to CONTROL Resonant’s reality-bending Manhattan and the shadowy scares of Resident Evil Requiem, gamers can adjust their visual settings directly through the service interface.

These new settings are accessible within the GeForce NOW app under settings for Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, and SteamOS platforms. Members can review official support documentation for specific membership tier details and optimization advice to achieve the smoothest cloud game streaming possible.

Enshrouded 1.0 Leaves Early Access

In addition to the software controls update, Keen Games’ Enshrouded has officially left early access with its 1.0 release. The co-op survival action role-playing game invites players to rise as a Flameborn, the last ember of hope of a dying race, venturing into a vast world where a corrupting fog has consumed a once-beautiful kingdom.

The full release introduces significant improvements to existing systems alongside expansions in combat. Players will find nine new spells, new mage and archer skills, reworked wands, and upgradeable Eternal spells and arrows. Furthermore, new enemy variants, a new biome, and an increased player level cap of 50 and equipment cap of 55 round out the update. GeForce NOW lets users stream Enshrouded 1.0 at launch across supported devices without requiring a local 60GB install or storage space updates.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 Joins the Cloud

Also launching on the platform is Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2. The brutal, fast-paced sequel to the retro first-person shooter brings more enemies, more weapons, and new ways to purge. Picking up directly after the original game, the branching single-player campaign sends the fight to grimdark new worlds.

Players can choose between the formidable Sternguard Veteran Malum Caedo and the swift Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath, each featuring distinct abilities, weapons, and play styles. From towering hive cities to jungle mangrove swamps, new enemy types await in every biome, and the cloud version ensures instant access without local loading bars or hardware upgrades.

Additional Games and DLSS 5 Updates

Alongside the headline releases, several new titles are joining the platform catalog. These additions include Deep Dish Dungeon, Planet Zoo 2, Total War: SHOGUN 2 – Complete Edition, Valor Mortis, Among the Trolls, over the hill, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, Beyond These Stars, Tenebris Somnia, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered.

NVIDIA also noted that the performance of DLSS 5’s 3D-Guided Neural Rendering model is improving by 2X, enabling even more gamers to experience enhanced lighting and materials at high frame rates. The updated model is scheduled to debut in NBA 2K27 on October 16 across GeForce NOW, GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, and RTX Spark laptops. Gamers interested in testing the new features can opt for a day pass to trial premium cloud gaming before committing to a monthly membership.
