Funding and Foundation

Tel Aviv-based Mave was founded in 2025 by Unit 8200 alumni Guy Eshel, who serves as CTO, and Raziel Oren, who serves as CEO. On October 22, 2026, the company announced it has raised a total of $34 million in seed and Series A funding to build an agentic SecOps platform for enterprises.

The financing round includes $6 million in seed funding secured at the time of founding, alongside a new $28 million Series A round. The Series A was led by Red Dot Capital Partners, with participation from Lumir Growth Partners. Dell Technologies Capital and Emerge Ventures, which previously led Mave's seed round, also participated in the Series A financing.

Addressing the Speed of Attacks

According to Mave, adversarial use of AI has dramatically accelerated the speed of cyberattacks, creating a scenario where traditional defenses struggle to keep up. As noted in analyses concerning the speed of attacks, automated kill chains and AI-assisted attackers leave traditional security information and event management (SIEM) defenses unable to keep pace.

While internal enterprise use of AI generates massive volumes of useful data, security operations teams often find themselves overwhelmed by dozens of security tools and huge amounts of data. Mave notes that teams still cannot respond fast enough during real incidents because they must investigate threats one tool at a time and manually piece together evidence.

Agentic SecOps Platform

Mave's solution is designed to automate security operations using a single agentic defense system. The platform pulls live context from an organization's existing security stack and works alongside fine-tuned small language models (SLMs) and frontier large language models (LLMs) to generate context-based reasoning for security teams in near real time.

CEO Raziel Oren emphasized that every delay in threat investigation introduces additional risk. By leveraging AI agents, Mave seeks to provide security teams with technology capable of keeping pace with modern attackers while clearly showing its work and identifying instances where human judgment remains necessary.

Governance and Control

Although the underlying AI agents possess the technical capability to physically complete actions suggested by data analysis, Mave currently refrains from implementing fully autonomous end-to-end execution. The company maintains that autonomy without proper control introduces substantial risks for enterprises.

Consequently, Mave's current approach relies on a governed model featuring least-privileged integrations, necessary approval gates, and a comprehensive audit trail for every action and decision taken by the system. This controlled framework is designed to reduce alert fatigue among security operations personnel while preserving essential human oversight.

Expansion and Future Outlook

Mave currently maintains a staff of approximately 30 employees. The newly secured capital will be deployed to accelerate the company's frontier AI research, strengthen enterprise product lines, and expand its global presence.

To support these growth objectives, the company plans to increase its headcount by recruiting new talent for go-to-market and AI research roles, positioning itself within a growing ecosystem of agentic security solutions alongside market developments highlighted by firms such as Reco.
