Since its launch in September 2024, OpenAI Academy has hosted more than 250 events and engaged over four million learners. The program’s reach spans educators, small‑business owners, developers, nonprofit leaders and community members, providing practical AI training for tasks ranging from teaching to software development. New Learning Paths and Curriculum Expansion
Earlier this month the Academy introduced new learning paths for knowledge workers, developers, leaders, educators, and college students. Learners can select courses relevant to their roles and earn Academy badges by passing assessments. These pathways are designed to help participants apply AI to everyday challenges, such as adapting lessons with ChatGPT or building repeatable customer‑research processes.
