Global Expansion and Enterprise Rollout

Google has announced a major global expansion for Google Beam, bringing the technology to customers across six countries: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Japan. This international rollout is supported by a robust ecosystem of 18 channel partners fully equipped to deploy and support the system.

The experience is delivered by flagship hardware partner HP as HP Dimension with Google Beam, built specifically for modern enterprise collaboration. The system integrates with both Google Meet and Zoom, providing organizations with flexibility while aiming to elevate everyday conversations and remote interactions.

Proven Impact Through Internal Testing

According to extensive internal testing at Google, the technology has demonstrated significant improvements in areas such as recruiting, talent development, and cross-functional collaboration. An eight-week internal study revealed that teams using Beam felt 50% more connected to one another, found it 33% easier to ensure feedback was clearly understood, and experienced a 21% reduction in the need for follow-up meetings.

Early Adopters and Enterprise Use Cases

Major enterprises have already begun adopting the technology to handle remote recruitment and candidate interviews. Earlier this year, Bain and Company partnered with Google to test HP Dimension with Google Beam, transforming their campus recruiting process and enabling authentic face-to-face connections with candidates regardless of physical distance, while eliminating extensive travel requirements.

Additional early enterprise customers, including Netflix and Capital Group, are also utilizing the system to transform how they connect their global workforces.

Creation of the Beam Extended Network

To make the technology accessible to organizations of all sizes, Google is partnering with global flexible workspace operator Industrious to build the first-ever Beam extended network. Following an initial pilot earlier this year that engaged distributed teams for manager check-ins, interviews, and client consultations, this network aims to open doors for startups and businesses.

Beginning in October, users can book and experience HP Dimension with Google Beam directly at select Industrious locations across the U.S., including Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, and Palo Alto. More information and booking details can be found by visiting the official portal or checking resources available here.

Looking Ahead

As workplace dynamics continue to evolve, the demand for genuine human connection remains a constant focus for enterprise technology developers.
