European Leaders Adopt NVIDIA Vera CPUs for Local AI Infrastructure

Global technology partners and cloud providers are turning to NVIDIA Vera CPUs to build the next wave of local infrastructure, driven by rapid advancements in agentic computing.

European Leaders Adopt NVIDIA Vera CPUs for Local AI Infrastructure

The Rise of Agentic Computing and Vera CPUs

Nebius and Nscale are among global technology partners looking to NVIDIA Vera CPUs to build the next wave of infrastructure. Their momentum reflects rapid advancements in agentic computing. Unlike traditional systems that merely generate answers, modern AI agents retrieve information, run software tools, execute code, and evaluate results. Each individual step depends heavily on fast CPU processing.

Vera accelerates that work, helping agents respond faster while enabling data centers to make better use of computing capacity. The processor is designed to sustain that speed even when running thousands of tasks simultaneously, helping organizations expand their services without trading responsiveness for scale.

Cloud Providers and Sovereign AI Infrastructure

AI cloud providers Nebius, Nscale, and Verda are building with Vera to support the growing computing needs of businesses and developers. High-performance and energy-efficient CPUs help these providers scale the data processing and software execution behind their services, working alongside the GPUs running complex models. Furthermore, the broader sovereign AI ecosystem includes Aleria, a sovereign AI infrastructure and platform provider, which supports demand for infrastructure that keeps sensitive data and operations firmly under customer control.

Expanding Hardware Deployment Options

To support diverse customer requirements, server manufacturers Bull, Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, and Supermicro are building Vera-based systems. These partnerships give customers a wider variety of deployment options for their high-performance computing and AI data centers. Vera can function either by powering standalone CPU servers or by working alongside NVIDIA GPUs in accelerated systems, thereby supporting a wide range of workloads and deployment needs.

Data Processing and Analytical Workloads

Data processing companies such as ClickHouse, Cloudera, Duck Labs, Elastic, Polars, Redpanda, SAP, and Starburst observed strong results on Vera for analytical, extract-transform-and-load (ETL), and semantic search workloads during early testing. Vera’s per-core performance, LPDDR5X memory bandwidth, and the NVIDIA Scalable Coherency Fabric help achieve performance gains across the board for enterprise data pipelines.

Developer Platforms and Agent Sandboxes

Software and developer-platform companies including Atlassian, Inherent, and Nous Research are adopting Vera for environments where AI agents work directly alongside developers and researchers. Atlassian is utilizing Vera to accelerate the data processing that builds semantic search indexes for its AI-powered products. Inherent has tested Vera and looks to adopt it for environments where AI agents collaborate with engineers on novel scientific research, while Nous Research uses Vera to authenticate agent identities and validate every action before execution.

Additionally, cloud-based sandbox providers Baseten-Blaxel, Daytona, E2B, Modal, Prime Intellect, and Vercel are building on Vera. These sandboxes act as isolated computers for AI agents, powering the infrastructure required to execute code, run tools, and test results. Because sandboxes spin up millions of times a day, individual startup speeds compound at scale, making Vera's fast per-core performance and high-bandwidth memory exceptionally well-suited for high-throughput agentic workloads.
