Cloudflare has opened the waitlist for fully managed deployments of Cloudflare OS, a system designed to give every organization an agent workspace connected to its company data, systems, and custom workflows.

Cloudflare Opens Waitlist for Fully Managed Cloudflare OS

Introduction to Cloudflare OS Managed Deployments

Cloudflare has opened the waitlist for fully managed Cloudflare OS deployments, providing organizations with a streamlined way to launch agent workspaces. Following last month when Cloudflare announced Cloudflare OS and shared the open source repository, thousands of organizations have begun using the platform to work with company data, produce documents and slides, build collaborative tools for teams, and automate workflows using AI agents.

Every company operates with its own specific terminology, procedures, systems, and requirements. Cloudflare originally made the platform open source so that teams could customize it around how their business works. While users can deploy the code directly into their own accounts, the newly introduced fully managed option aims to simplify operations.

Launch Process and Customization Options

With just a few clicks in the Cloudflare dashboard, administrators will be able to launch their organization's agent workspace. The setup process requires specifying a custom domain, applying appropriate Cloudflare Access policies, and connecting a designated AI Gateway. Cloudflare handles the underlying infrastructure and operational upkeep.

Under the fully managed tier, organizations retain administrative control over access permissions, available organizational skills and context, and system integrations. Teams interested in adopting the fully managed model can join the waitlist through Cloudflare's registration page.

Integration with GitHub Repositories

When Cloudflare OS initially debuted, its primary focus remained on non-development tasks such as documentation creation, task automation, and collaborative tool building. Although agents could write code for applications, they lacked the ability to interact directly with existing Git repositories.

The platform now supports connecting an existing GitHub repository to Cloudflare OS. Users can instruct agents to explore codebases, investigate bugs, implement features, review modifications, and open pull requests. Agents can autonomously search and edit files, create commits, and push changes directly to GitHub.

Google Workspace Enhancements and Gatekeepers

Because a significant portion of daily business coordination occurs within Google Workspace—ranging from email threads and Drive storage to spreadsheet analysis and calendar scheduling—agents require robust cross-platform capabilities to remain effective.

Cloudflare has implemented significant updates to the Google Workspace Gatekeeper, functioning as a service-specific Worker situated between Cloudflare OS and external services. Agents can now read and research Gmail threads, compose drafts, send emails, and access specific folders, individual documents, or entire Google Drive accounts.

Export Formats and Document Handling

To accommodate standard corporate reporting requirements, the built-in document, presentation, and spreadsheet applications now support exporting work into familiar external formats. Depending on the generated content, users can export data to Microsoft Excel, CSV, PDF, Markdown, or HTML files, with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint export formats slated for release soon.

Furthermore, custom tools built within the workspace can define unique export formats. Users can instruct agents to prepare specific file types, such as downloading a schedule as a calendar file, which automatically integrates the option into the tool's export menu.

Availability and Getting Started

Cloudflare OS remains open source and accessible for independent deployment. Organizations can review the open-source repository or deploy the software directly into their own Cloudflare accounts for complete control over their configuration.

Organizations preferring a hands-off approach can apply for the fully managed service tier by visiting the waitlist page to receive further information and onboarding updates as deployments roll out.
