Bünyamin Aydın Launches From Earth to Sky With iPad Pro
Designer Bünyamin Aydın celebrated the 15th anniversary of Les Benjamins with a landmark fashion show in Cappadocia, utilizing Apple devices from initial design to final capture.

Anatolian Heritage Meets Modern Technology
Designer Bünyamin Aydın brought together Turkish heritage, 1970s rock 'n' roll influences, and futurism for his latest landmark fashion project, "From Earth to Sky." Celebrating 15 years of the Istanbul-based lifestyle brand Les Benjamins, the ambitious showcase took place in Cappadocia's Rose Valley against a dramatic landscape. Additional information and visual assets regarding the campaign can be found via the Apple Newsroom.
The project draws inspiration from three native flowers discovered during an early 2026 research trip to the region: spiky green Echinops, flutelike pink trumpets, and wild yellow tulips. These flora directly inspired 10 striking looks and three custom-built hot-air balloons. Aydın explains that his work embodies a personal duality, noting that the canvas is the West while the paint is the East, blending contemporary silhouettes with traditional Turkish fabrics.

The Creative Nexus: iPad Pro and Apple Pencil Pro
Throughout the developmental stages of the collection, the iPad Pro with the M5 chip served as the core workstation. Aydın utilized the device to assemble photographs, fabric references, and preliminary designs within the Freeform app, allowing seamless collaboration and export capabilities with his creative team. The thin and light form factor provided the mobility needed during extensive field research.
Using Procreate on the iPad Pro, Aydın and his team designed the custom hot-air balloons before collaborating with Pasha Balloons to ensure structural feasibility. The Apple Pencil Pro played a critical role in the iterative design phase. Features such as the hover effect allowed Aydın to preview strokes before application, while low latency and customizable squeeze gestures helped maintain a fluid workflow comparable to working on a traditional desktop.

Capturing Cappadocia With iPhone 18 Pro Max
As the sun rose over Rose Valley, French filmmaker Neels Castillon directed the live fashion show using the iPhone 18 Pro Max. The production captured the dynamic lighting conditions of the early morning using the device's 48MP Fusion Main camera and variable aperture. Camera operators leveraged professional controls, including histograms and white balance, to maintain visual consistency across multiple recording angles.
Custom-built drones carrying twin iPhone 18 Pro Max units captured sweeping aerial shots at 4K 120 fps, emphasizing the scale of the landscape and the movement of the custom hot-air balloons. Castillon utilized ProRes RAW to retain maximum post-production flexibility for color grading, ensuring the vibrant hues of the collection accurately matched the vivid displays found on Apple hardware.

Media and Production Workflow
The massive volume of high-resolution video and photographic assets generated during the Cappadocia shoot required a streamlined post-production setup. As drone feeds and multi-camera footage rolled into the production control center, initial synchronization and reviewing took place on location using MacBook Pro models equipped with M4 Max chips and nano-texture displays. Supporters and enthusiasts looking to explore official campaign content can access promotional videos or review complete media archives directly.
By integrating mobile hardware throughout both the design phase and the cinematic production, the "From Earth to Sky" project showcases the capabilities of modern portable technology in high-end fashion and commercial filmmaking.
