Newegg Deal Cuts $500 Off Pre-Built Rig
Finding value in the current gaming PC market often points buyers toward pre-built systems, particularly when discounts are involved. Newegg has introduced a notable price cut on the ABS Flux II Aqua gaming PC, lowering the machine's cost by $500 and bringing it under the $1,800 threshold to sit at $1,799.99. This discount makes the pre-built desktop a competitive option for players seeking robust hardware without building a system from scratch. As reported by Tom's Hardware, purchasing pre-built systems like the ABS Flux II Aqua gaming PC offers a streamlined path to current-generation gaming hardware. The system arrives ready for action straight out of the box, combining balanced processing power and modern graphics technology tailored for high-resolution displays.
Graphics and Processing Power
At the heart of the system is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card, a mid- to high-tier GPU designed to deliver high frame rates at 1440p alongside potential for 4K resolution gaming. Equipped with 6,144 CUDA cores and 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM running on a 192-bit memory bus, the card handles demanding titles effectively. Gamers can also utilize Nvidia DLSS features, including multi-frame generation, to further boost frame rates during intensive gaming sessions.
Pairing with the graphics card is the Intel Core i7-14700F CPU. Although part of the Raptor Lake Refresh generation, this 20-core processor remains a popular and capable choice for pre-built rigs. It features 12 efficient cores dedicated to multi-threaded workloads and eight performance cores that deliver the muscle required for smooth gaming experiences, minimizing bottlenecks alongside the RTX 5070.
Memory and Storage Specifications
Beyond the core processor and graphics hardware, the desktop ships with robust supporting components to ensure swift system responsiveness. The build includes 32GB of G.Skill Flare X5 RAM, split across two 16GB dual-channel modules operating at speeds of 6,000 MT/s, leaving older DDR4 memory standards behind.
For storage, the system incorporates a 1TB Kingston SNV3S SSD that utilizes Gen 4 speeds. This solid-state drive provides enough storage space to house the Windows operating system alongside a couple of large AAA game titles, ensuring quick load times and rapid data access.
Market Position and Value
ABS serves as Newegg's proprietary house brand, allowing the retailer to package formidable hardware specifications into complete desktop builds at competitive prices. With the current markdown applied, the system offers substantial components for buyers seeking a reliable machine capable of handling modern gaming requirements.
Shoppers interested in taking advantage of the promotion can find further details regarding the hardware and pricing directly through the platform's listing for the ABS Flux II Aqua gaming PC.
