New Indie Games Spotlight: Galactic Racer and More
The latest indie game roundup features upcoming releases, physics-based puzzles, photography adventures, and high-speed racing.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer Highlights Indie Releases
The latest indie game roundup highlights a variety of titles hitting platforms soon, led by Star Wars: Galactic Racer. Developed by Fuse Games, a new studio featuring former developers from Burnout and Need for Speed, the title utilizes a roguelite structure to keep races from becoming repetitive despite its current scope. Publisher Secret Mode previously broke off from Sumo Group, bringing experienced racing developers together for this fast-paced project.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer includes a campaign with randomized encounters, ship upgrades, and environmental hazards like acid and burning effects. The game features course designs across locations such as Crait and Jakku. It officially launches on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on October 6 for $60.
Coffee Stain Showcase and Platform Expansions
Coffee Stain recently hosted its first Big Break Showcase, sharing news and updates for several games. Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is confirmed to hit PS5, Switch, and Switch 2 on October 7. Additionally, the first paid expansion for Satisfactory, titled Core Values, will introduce underground environments, new creatures, biomes, and buildings.
In other platform expansion news, the martial arts action game Sifu is coming to iOS and Android on October 12, allowing the title to reach a wider audience across mobile operating systems.

Photography and Physics Adventures in Toem 2 and Tiny Flock
Players looking for a relaxing weekend game can turn to Toem 2, the sequel to Toem: A Photography Adventure. The follow-up introduces an upgraded camera, new attachments for puzzle-solving, and a fresh cast of characters. Players complete quests to fill a journal with stamps, unlocking subsequent regions while navigating environments to find hidden photographic vantage points.
Meanwhile, No Brakes Games—the studio behind Human Fall Flat—is introducing Tiny Flock. The cute physics-based game tasks players with herding sheep across diorama-style levels through interactive environments where objects can be manipulated to build bridges. The Meta Quest version includes passthrough and handtracking support.
Keep Driving Expands to Consoles alongside Community Highlights
YCJY Games and Kepler Ghost have brought their road-trip RPG Keep Driving to consoles, following its debut on Steam. Set in the early 2000s, the management simulator requires players to cross the country for a festival while handling challenges like sheep blocking the road, picking up hitchhikers, and maintaining a customizable vehicle. Mod support has also gone live for the Steam version of the game.
Community creations are also drawing attention across other indie titles. Players of Dressmaker have been sharing complex, custom garments, showcasing the creative possibilities within the title.
