Even Realities G2 Update Adds Knowledge Base and Pro Mode
Even Realities has announced a major software update for its G2 smart glasses, bringing a personal knowledge base, a revamped Conversate Pro Mode, and upgrades to its AI interface.

Major Version 2.4.0 Update Details
Even Realities has announced that a new software version is rolling out to the G2 smart glasses, complete with a personal knowledge base that only remembers what you tell it. When the G2 smart glasses launched, Even Realities packed them with features aimed at professionals, as well as tech geeks who appreciate retro mixing with the modern. However, tools like Conversate can prove valuable to anyone in the right situation.
The company states that Conversate is getting an overhauled Pro Mode that pulls data from a feature called Knowledge Base, which remembers the information and data selected by the user. These feature refreshes are included in the Even Realities G2 version 2.4.0 update, which also upgrades the company's AI interface to Even AI 2.0.
Knowledge Base and Conversate Pro Mode Functionality
Files and audio recorded in Conversate mode on the glasses, along with any manually uploaded files, sync to a secure Google Cloud Platform server located in the European Union. Even AI 2.0 and active Conversate sessions pull context directly from this Knowledge Base.
Users are allowed to select up to 10 Conversate records to upload to that context tree during initial setup, with more records able to be added as they are recorded. New Conversate sessions need to be selected for upload and are not added to the database automatically unless the user toggles automated uploads on.
Whatever data is present, Conversate Pro Mode will surface it during relevant sessions. For example, if a user has a backlog of recorded meetings, new instances will provide context based on existing knowledge. Even Realities says Knowledge Base and Conversate Pro Mode are launching in beta, with usage limited based on a monthly usage allowance during the early phase.
Even AI 2.0 Upgrades and Quality-of-Life Improvements
The most substantial part of the update centers on Even AI 2.0. Even Realities describes it as a major upgrade to how users interact with the G2 smart glasses as a whole, introducing quality-of-life changes designed to make the wearable easier to operate.
The glasses are now capable of activating Even AI using the touch sensor. Holding down the sensor starts the recording, while releasing it stops the recording. Furthermore, instead of requiring a new wake word for follow-up prompts, users can enable multi-turn conversations. Opening Even Hubs apps and modifying specific settings directly from the AI chat are also supported.
Hardware and Availability Updates
In addition to the software enhancements brought by version 2.4.0, the hardware lineup is expanding. Even Realities has introduced a new tortoiseshell color option for buyers looking for a classic design style.
Details regarding pricing for the beta features after the trial period conclude were not mentioned in the official press release.
