France’s Tech Ecosystem Deploys NVIDIA Agentic Computing
Companies and organizations across France are successfully deploying agentic computing at scale, moving their technological ambitions into practical application across industries ranging from space exploration to financial services and scientific research.

From Groundwork to Infrastructure
The progress of agentic computing in France sits on deliberate groundwork established by major compute commitments at the AI Action Summit in February 2025 and the Choose France Summits in 2025 and 2026. Building on this momentum, France-based companies are rapidly expanding their agentic infrastructure utilizing advanced technology from the NVIDIA Blog.
Among these developments, Bull is extending its European AI server production to upcoming NVIDIA Vera Rubin Ultra NVL72 systems planned for 2028. These systems feature trays produced in Europe and rack integration performed at the company's Angers factory, which was officially inaugurated on Friday, October 2.
Space Exploration and Edge AI
Space exploration has also seen significant technological integration as Altair-1—the first satellite in a $1 billion, 50-satellite constellation featuring on-board autonomous capabilities—launched and successfully reached orbit this month. Integrated by Loft Orbital and built in Abu Dhabi by Orbitworks, the satellite is equipped to handle advanced data processing.
To achieve real-time Earth observation and autonomous operations in orbit, the spacecraft relies on NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin edge modules running Mistral’s models.
Sovereign AI and Public Sector Adoption
Organizations requiring sovereign and trustworthy data are turning heavily to NVIDIA Nemotron open models for production environments across France.
In the public sector, LINAGORA and Docaposte secured the CANUT framework agreement, designating Twake.ai—built on NVIDIA Nemotron—as the sole referenced sovereign digital workplace for more than 2,500 French public organizations. Simultaneously, within the financial services sector, SBS is launching a sovereign platform enabling banks to deploy governed generative and agentic services directly within their own environments in collaboration with NVIDIA.
Transforming Retail and Industrial Operations
Across retail, public services, telecommunications, and scientific research, open models and dedicated infrastructure are driving operational results. For instance, L'Oréal is shifting cosmetic formulation discovery to in-silico screening using the open source NVIDIA ALCHEMI toolkit running on its own GPU cluster, targeting discovery speeds up to 100 times faster.
Other companies are streamlining marketplace performance and visual modeling. Mirakl has onboarded over 70 million products using fine-tuned open models running on NVIDIA GPUs and inference software, cutting seller catalog onboarding times to under two hours. Furthermore, companies like Omi help brands integrate accurate products into AI-generated marketing visuals by combining approved 3D digital twins with open models optimized for faster inference.
In the Côte-d'Or region, ThinkDeep and Akila constructed a digital-twin agent powered by Cosmos open world models alongside Nemotron and Omniverse libraries. This system manages nearly 5,800 kilometers of roads and buildings, successfully reducing total operating costs by 10% with a target of 30% as deployment scales further.
Advancements in Quantum and Telecommunications
Telecommunications operators are also advancing their AI strategies. Bouygues Telecom and Prisme.ai launched AI Studio V2, powered by full-stack NVIDIA infrastructure, granting all employees the ability to build custom agents in a secure, controlled environment.
In the quantum computing space, Alice & Bob has integrated the NVIDIA NVQLink platform for its superconducting cat qubits, demonstrating how GPUs can enhance quantum error correction efficiency. Additionally, Quandela has utilized NVQLink to connect a DGX Spark system with its photonic qubits, pushing forward QPU-GPU supercomputing and hybrid quantum-classical applications.
