TechCrunch Founder Summit 2026 Sets Boston Lineup

Event Overview and Focus

Building a startup involves navigating high-stakes decisions long before all the answers are available. To address these operational realities, the upcoming TechCrunch Founder Summit 2026 is set to bring together founders, operators, and investors to tackle challenges such as scaling, customer acquisition, team building, and pitching.

Hosted by TechCrunch in partnership with Fidelity Private Shares, the full-day event will take place on November 4 at SoWa Power Station in Boston. Attendees interested in joining can Save 25% on your ticket today, and organizers are also offering a limited BOGO deal to bring a colleague along for free.

Keynote Speakers on Scaling and Market Fit

The speaker lineup features several prominent figures from the technology and venture capital sectors. Steve Fredette, president, co-founder, and director of Toast, will take the Impact Stage for a session titled "Building a Company That Keeps Reinventing Itself." His presentation will examine Toast's journey from identifying a core customer problem to scaling into a major public company.

In addition to Toast's scaling story, Kent Bennett, partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, will lead a session focused on recognizing genuine product-market fit before allocating capital to growth. The discussion aims to help early-stage founders evaluate customer signals before increasing headcount or accelerating go-to-market efforts.

Continuing the theme of strategic growth, Rudina Seseri, founder and managing partner of Glasswing Ventures, will host a session titled "When to Scale and When to Hit the Brakes." Seseri's talk will explore how founders can balance immediate expansion against the discipline required to protect the long-term health of their businesses.

Artificial Intelligence and Regional Ecosystems

The event program also addresses how artificial intelligence is reshaping company architecture. Lior Div, CEO and co-founder of 7AI, will discuss building companies designed around AI from day one, distinguishing between treating AI as a standalone product feature versus embedding it directly into an operating model.

Focusing on local startup ecosystems, Chase Garbarino, CEO and co-founder of HqO, will present "The Boston Founder Playbook." This session highlights the opportunities and strategies for building and scaling high-growth enterprises in New England and across the East Coast without needing to replicate Silicon Valley's model.

Pitching and Investor Perspectives

Pitching strategies will also be a central focus of the summit. Dave Balter, venture partner at True Ventures and CEO of Edisyl, will lead a session exploring how founders can construct pitches designed to secure follow-up conversations rather than closing deals outright.

Later in the day, the summit will feature an interactive segment titled "So You Think You Can Pitch?" on the Build Stage. Selected startups will present their business cases live in front of an investor panel comprising Dave Balter, Chirag Shah from Define Ventures, and Simran Suri from Maveron, offering attendees a real-time look at investor evaluation criteria.

Additional Programming and Registration

Beyond the main stage talks, the event agenda includes sessions on distribution strategy by Hunter Worland of NEA, building high-performing teams with Vineet Edupuganti of Cogent Security, and identifying category winners with Tina Tosukhowong of TDK Ventures. Representatives from Fidelity Private Shares will also host discussions regarding fundraising trends and enterprise relationships.

The TechCrunch Founder Summit 2026 offers a full day of candid conversations, roundtables, live pitch evaluations, networking opportunities, and a closing reception sponsored by Fidelity Private Shares at Boston's SoWa Power Station.
