Hello Robot and A&K Robotics to Discuss Indoor Navigation
As robots transition from controlled warehouse environments into everyday life, industry leaders are addressing the critical navigation hurdles of dynamic indoor spaces.

Navigating Crowded Indoor Spaces
As robots move beyond warehouses and other controlled environments and into everyday life, navigation challenges will be critical to achieving broad consumer acceptance and large-scale deployment. Consumer-facing spaces are dynamic, crowded, and highly unpredictable, requiring machines to safely navigate around constantly changing obstacles, operate in diverse lighting conditions, navigate narrow passages and cluttered spaces, integrate with existing infrastructure, and balance autonomy with safety.
To address these hurdles, industry leaders from Hello Robot and A&K Robotics are scheduled to speak at the upcoming RoboBusiness conference. Further details and updates are regularly covered by industry publications such as The Robot Report.
Session Details at RoboBusiness 2026
At RoboBusiness 2026, Aaron Edsinger, the co-founder and CEO of Hello Robot, and Matt Anderson, the co-founder and CEO of A&K Robotics, will take part in the session titled 'Shared Spaces: Navigating Challenges for Indoor Robots.'
The leading commercial robotics event will take place on Oct. 20 and 21 in Santa Clara, Calif. Edsinger and Anderson are scheduled to give their talk at 3:30 p.m. PT on the first day of the show in the Engineering Theater.
Background on Hello Robot and Aaron Edsinger
Aaron Edsinger is the co-founder and CEO of Hello Robot, which is developing practical, safe, and accessible robots for people. With a passion for building robots and robot companies, Edsinger has founded four companies focused on bringing human collaborative robots to the consumer, manufacturing, healthcare, and research markets.
Two of his previous ventures, Meka Robotics and Redwood Robotics, were acquired by Google in 2013. As robotics director at Google, Edsinger led the business, product, and technical development of two central investments in robotics, working closely with senior executives to define the company's overall robotics strategy.
Edsinger is recognized as a robotics innovator with a broad understanding of the entire robot product design stack, including human-robot interaction, UX design, mechanical design, design for manufacture, industrial design, software architecture, and real-time control. He is also expert in the design of force-controlled arms, actuators, hands, and humanoids.
Background on A&K Robotics and Matt Anderson
Matt Anderson is the co-founder and CEO of A&K Robotics, which builds autonomous mobility infrastructure for complex, human-centered environments such as airports. He leads the company’s product strategy, which includes Cruz, a self-driving mobility robot that carries passengers through high-traffic environments, and Kineos AI, a platform for socially intelligent autonomy.
Anderson brings credibility with enterprise and public-sector partners by translating advanced autonomy into institution-ready solutions. He has over 10 years of experience building and bringing to market advanced technologies ranging from autonomous aerial drones to surgical devices, and is an alumnus of Creative Destruction Lab’s artificial intelligence and machine learning program.
